The biggest gaming hits just keep on rolling out this 2018 with some big games that are skyrocketing in the charts. It's no surprise that the latest games released are doing incredibly well as we have all been waiting in anticipation as the developers tease us with trailers and more. Now, these games are out and we just can't get enough of them!

As of this past weekend on the 6th of October, These are the Top 10 Entertainment Software Charts.

1. FIFA19

FIFA19 is developed by EA Vancouver and is a football simulation game that was released on the 28th of September 2018. You create, alter and change up your team based on the team you are playing against. The game calls for strategy as you need to determine what players are left for the match you are about to play so that your team dominates and wins. You are the manager and you control, swap and buy players to in order to make your team the best. With new additions to famous players and famous stadiums, I can see why it is first on the charts as it is one of the most popular games that have been around since 1994!

2. Assassins Creed Odyssey

Assassins Creed Odyssey is developed by Ubisoft Quebec and is an action role-playing video game that was released on the 5th of October 2018 with the story set in Greece. The game is set in 431 BCE and recreates the fictional Peloponnesian war where city-states fought and collided in ancient Greece. The player acts out the role of a warrior where they must choose a side to be on and fight against, either the Peloponnesian war lead by Sparta or the Delian League. A great ancient warrior game that will take you back in time where it was every man for himself!

3. Forza Horizon 4

Forza Horizon 4 was developed by playground games and published by Microsoft games. It was released on 2nd October 2018. The game is set in an open world, fictionalized UK where you will be able to race, do stunts, create races, explore and buy houses and cars. You can choose your own path to become a Horizon Superstar. The seasons change every week which will change the entire gameplay including how and what you drive. A fun game that will always have you on your toes and your adrenaline pumping.

4. Marvels Spider-Man

Marvels Spider-Man is developed by Insomniac Games and is an action-adventure RPG open world game release on the 7th of September 2018. The story is set in New York City, the game tells a different story of Spider-man than the one portrayed in the comic books, but still features the aspects of Peter Parker and Spider-man. The player can play as Spider-man, Peter Parker, Miles Morales and Mary Jane Watson, although each character has different strengths and weakness as well as tasks and objective they need to complete or solve. As the hype had been building up to this incredible game, every chance we got to get our hands on it we did, and ow it is out for us to enjoy 24/7.

5. Super Mario Party

Super Mario Party was developed by NDcube and is a party themed game released on the 5th of October 2018. Super Mario Party game consists of four navigating their way through the board, like a board game. Along the way there are many mini-games each player needs to take part in and complete in order to move on, this is the standard mode, Party Mode. The second mode is known as the Partner Party where there are 2 teams that consist of 2 players each as they search for stars on the board that allows you to move freely. When playing the game you can only us 1 Joy-con controller per playing, making working together as a team both fun and challenging. Online there is a Mario-thon mode where players compete in 5 mini-games that are randomly selected and whoever gets the highest score will win

6. Shadow of The Tomb Raider

Shadow of the Tomb Raider is developed by Eidos Montreal and is an action-adventure RPG game that was released on the 14th of September 2018. The story followers Lara Croft as she travels across the world and ventures through South America and Mesoamerica to the city of Paititi. Croft is on a mission to stop the Mayan apocalypse that the paramilitary organization Trinity has released while trying to defeat them. Players play as none other than Lara Croft herself as she explores the environment carrying out missions while fighting enemies and unlocking rewards and collecting useful resources.

7. Tekken 7

Tekken 7 is developed by Bandai Namco Entertainment and is a fighting game that was released on the 18th of March 2015. The game shows the events that lead up to the final battle between a martial artist named Heihachi Mashima and his son named Kazuya. There are 2 mechanisms that were introduced into Tekken 7, the Rage Art and the Power Crush. Rage Art lets the player perform critical attacks that will take around 30 percent of the character's health in exchange for an ordinary attack. Whereas Power crush allows you to carry on attacking your enemy while they are attacking you even though you are receiving damage. A classic fighting game that brings back good old memories from the arcade days.

8. Crash Bandicoot N.Sane Trilogy

Crash Bandicoot N.Sane Trilogy is developed by Vicarious Visions and is a platformer adventure game that was released on the 30th of June 2018. This new Crash Bandicoot trilogy is made up of the first 3 series that are Crash Bandicoot, Cortex Strikes Back and Warped. The game is about non-other Crash who tackles many levels trying to defeat Doctor Neo Cortex whos aim is to take over the world. The classic series, Crash can perform all his jumping techniques, spinning smashing crates, collecting wumpa fruits, Aku Aku masks and more while defeating the enemies.

9. Project Cars 2

Project Cars 2 is a motorsport racing simulator game that is developed by Slightly Mad Studios and released on the 22nd of September 2017. The game has 182 different cars manufactured by different companies, some racing cars and some non-racing cars that you can choose from. There are 46 tracks for you to race from, adding a variety and different scenery to your speedy drive. Not only do you have a variety of tracks to race on but the weather changes into seasons making the game feel realistic.

10. Grand Theft Auto V

Grand Theft Auto V is developed by Rockstar North and is an open world action-adventure game that was released on the 17th of September 2013. Players can either play from a first person or third person perspective. You Carry out missions with objectives in different scenarios as you go through the story. You are free to roam in the open world of San Andreas, Blain Countr and Los Santos. Players can hijack cars, race the streets, get into fights and much much more. In this open world, anything is possible as there is no restriction and the further you progress in your story the more things you will unlock.
