Supraland Walkthrough and Review
From the moment we stumbled upon Supraland, we knew we had to have it. What looked like the cutest game as you play a little red plastic toy would eventually turn out to be quite the challenge as some missions are a lot harder than this friendly and cute game perceives to be. Check out the full walkthrough below.
Before getting into the details of the game and everything you need to know, I'm going to drop a bomb. Can you believe this game was made by One man! Yes, you read correct, One man, a developer named David Münnich. All I can say is wow! Supraland is an open-world first-person Metroidvania puzzle game where you play as a little red plastics character. The whole of Supraland is located in a sandbox and is said to be controlled by a boy, who owns the sandbox. So are you willingly roaming around the open-world and solving puzzles by yourself, or are you secretly being controlled to do so? A fun twist on a game, especially one as cool and cute as this one.
There is a small storyline to the game, not the biggest one, but it allows you to also go off on your own and explore and do your own thing. You are the son of a king, the king of a village in Supraland that is filled with little red plastic toys just like you. Just like the red village, there is a blue village, but your village and the blue village do not get along. There is a standing feud between the red people and the blue and the king believes that the Blue toys have messed with the red villages water supply.
You start off by waking up in a bedroom and you make your way outside where the whole village and the king and Queen which is your mom and dad are waiting for you. They tell you that there is a problem with the water supply and that there is no water coming through. They believe the blue village have messed with it and want you to go down and fix the problem. When starting your first task, you get given a sword to protect yourself. The sword causes 20 percent damage to your opponent that you hit. There are little skeleton zombies that come your way, you need to attack them until they disappear as they diminish your health.
Collect all the coins, solve the puzzles and explore in the fun open world game. The more coins you collect the more items you can buy from the shop that will help solve some of the puzzles and make some of your missions easy to complete. The more missions you complete and the further you go into the game the harder the puzzles are to solve. It is a thinking game with no real direction of what to do or where to go. If you do need help, just go up to one of the red characters and they will usually give you a riddle or tell you something that needs to be done or where to go.
Not all levels are available and open for you to explore. You need to unlock more abilities and complete certain levels in order to unlock and enter another level. Every level has tools and objects scattered around for you to use them in completing the level, but it's up to you to figure out where they go and how to use them. The little village is super cute with little homes and stalls filled with little red plastic characters running everywhere.
Your character, the little red plastic toy, the son of the king has to go on a mission to the blue village to talk to the king about this ongoing war. You treck across different cool locations and solve different puzzles and missions. For a simple game, it is done really well with many areas to explores and puzzles to solve. Everything about the game makes you feel like a little kid or the little red plastic toy stuck in this world inside a sandbox. If you've ever wanted to be a mini little toy figurine, then this is your chance. With the childlike graphics and environment, its definitely one of my favorite games at the moment that I think will be yours to the moment you start playing.
